Underfloor Heating & Heating Controls
Where a property’s underfloor heating or smart heating controls run off a communal Heat Interface Unit, a fault in one often shows up as a symptom in the other. HIU Experts diagnoses and repairs underfloor heating and HIU-connected heating controls across London, alongside our core HIU repair and servicing work.
For HIU-connected properties
In flats served by a communal heat network, the HIU is the source of heat for the underfloor system — a fault that looks like a “flooring problem” or a “thermostat problem” can often trace back to the HIU’s heating actuator or control logic.
Underfloor heating performance checks, thermostat testing, zone valve and actuator inspection, and system balancing verification.
We trace the fault to the source
UNDERFLOOR HEATING NOT HEATING UP
Zone valve, actuator or HIU-side heating faults affecting underfloor heating.
THERMOSTAT FAULT HEAT NETWORK
Wiring, calibration or communication faults affecting the heating actuator.
SMART HEATING CONTROLS FAULT
Diagnostic checks for smart thermostats and their connection to HIU controls.
UNDERFLOOR HEATING SERVICING
Manifold, zone valve and system balancing checks for reliable performance.
